You can find some reviews online, but can you get clear skin using the Tru Skin Tea Tree Serum?
My Truskin Tea Tree Serum Review
I am a proponent of serums because they are highly concentrated and can penetrate deep within the skin compared to some acne creams. They even out your skin's appearance, prevent wrinkles and is age defying, and can be used on sensitive skin. Every natural vitamin serum I have used has been beneficial for my skin in numerous ways so I had high hopes for this product as well.
Truskin Naturals Tea Tree Clear Skin Serum is one of their newest released serums to their product line. They also sell other serums, moisturizers, and toners.
The Truskin Clear Skin serum has a strong floral scent from the lavender and geranium oil. It made my skin feel smooth and gentle after using only one drop. I also used a few drops on my hands because they were dry and I noticed that it helped the cracked skin.
Price & Where To Buy
You can only purchase Tru Skin Naturals products from Amazon. The price for the Tea Tree Serum is about $25.
If you are a Prime Member you receive free two-day shipping. It is important to me that I receive products quickly.
Blemless is also purchased along with TruSkin. Blemless is available in the UK and Australia.
Truskin Tea Tree Clear Skin Amazon Reviews
Before purchasing the tea tree clear skin naturals serum I read some of the over 700 reviews they have on Amazon. It has a 4.4 star rating and the most recent reviews are positive.
First I want to mention that I normally do not place reviews (especially with my picture) but I CAN NOT express enough just how happy I am that I gave these products a try, after trying so many different things for my skin (Proactiv, Acne Free, Rodan and Fields, prescription creams from the dermatologist and many many many others) none of them stayed true to all of the promises. For that reason, and for all of the wasted money I have spent I was definitely a little Leary to try it but I am just so thankful for other users posting amazing reviews that I Wanted to post some pictures of my results so that anyone else that suffers from problematic skin can see just how amazing this stuff is!!

It was interesting to see that many of the negative reviews mentioned breaking out with more pimples as the side effect. This is quite common as even a positive review mentioned a "purging" period where acne gets worse before it gets better. It is best to stick with products for the amount of time directed in order to see the desired effects and tone your skin.
I really wanted to like this item. It is all natural and uses minimum ingredients. But, it made me break out even more. 🙁 So sad.

UPDATE: MARCH 2019
Recent truskin tea tree clear skin serum reviews have not been quite as great as they ere at one time, but we feel that some of these reviews are unfair. For example one customer said that the product made their skin too dry which is a bit ridiculous considering the product is meant to help oily skin. We believe though that topical treatments are a bit too reactionary though and suggest looking into taking Acnetame as it can help your issue from the inside out.
How To Use
After cleansing and toning, apply a thin layer of the truskin serum tea tree treatment to your face and neck. It is best to use it for 2-3 days at first and gradually working up over time. You may want to start with a patch test on a small area of your skin to make sure the formula is a good fit for you.
You can use it in the morning or at night and can be worn under makeup. I personally like to use serums at night so the powerful formula can work while I sleep. I find that I receive more of the benefits of the ingredients like faster healing when it is applied before bed.
If you plan on applying it in the morning it is suggested to wear sunscreen as well because it contains retinol which can make your skin more sensitive to the sun. You can also use it interchangeably with their other serums.
Truskin Tea Tree Clear Skin Serum ingredients
Along with Tea Tree, the Truskin serum contains Vitamin C, Retinol, Niacinamide, Salicylic Acid and Hyaluronic Acid.
How do These Ingredients Defy Age and Help Acne?
- Vitamin C- Gives skin it's elasticity and smooths fine lines.
- Retinol- Aids in cell turnover meaning it helps the skin heal faster and look younger.
- Niacinamide- It is a form of Vitamin B3 which helps dull looking skin, decreases pore size, and regulates oil production.
- Salicylic Acid- Best used for mild acne, blackheads, and whiteheads as it can help unclog pores.
- Hyaluronic Acid- Increases collagen production which helps retain moisture and elasticity. (1)
- Tea Tree- Because it is an astringent it can kill bacteria clogged in pores. This is particularly helpful for people with acne-prone skin as Tea Tree has been shown to be and effective treatment for mild acne. (2)
Other ingredients in the serum are organic deionized herbal infusion, organic aloe, MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), olive oil squalene, organic rosehip seed oil, lavender oil, ylang ylang, wildcrafted dandelion, gotu kola, wild geranium, wildcrafted horsetail, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin, carbomer, (2s)-2-Amino-5-guanidinopentanoic acid.
Almost all of the ingredients are natural except a few. In fact they state directly on the bottle that it is only 98% natural.
The ingredients that are not natural in the Tru Skin Serum are phenoxyethanol (naturally found in green tea, but when used commercially it is synthetic), carbomer, and ethylhexylglycerin. Although they are not natural they are all considered safe to use in skin care products and the product does not contain benzoyl peroxide.
A similar product to TruSkin is Skin Science Face Serum with Tea Tree Oil and Vitamin E. We may review this serum at a later time as well to see which one works better.
Are There Any Side Effects from TruSkin?
Tru Skin Tea Tree Serum is a retinol serum which can make the skin more sensitive when exposed to the sun. Another side effect that may occur is dry skin because tea tree is an astringent which dries out the skin. This can be a good thing though if you have overly oily skin.

Conclusion- Does The TruSkin Tea Tree Serum Work?
The Tea Tree Clear Skin Super Serum contains ingredients which are anti-bacterial, soften skin, and clear pores. It is not entirely natural, but the product is safe to use and does not come with many side effects. TruSkin serum is not fake as we find it works.
It has a strong scent which may aggravate some skin types, but when a small amount is applied it should not cause any issues with blotchiness or redness. Although it is marketed for acne and face wrinkles you could also use it on your hands and it will probably make your hair soft too.
You can add this product into your daily beauty or skincare routine to help diminish blemishes, acne scars, and get rid of acne. It may also be a great way to stop new signs of aging and reduce inflammation.
We recommend this product for those with mild breakouts as well as people who want to even their complexion. For best results for your skin you could use it in conjunction with an over the counter acne supplement.
