Our Clear Biotic review will tell you about the ingredients, benefits, and side effects.
Clear-Biotic is a supplement comprised of vitamins and probiotics. Probiotics are "good" bacteria in the gut which are essential for absorbing nutrients and keeping us from getting sick.
If your body is lacking probiotics you can experience side effects such as diarrhea, skin issues, and a compromised immune system.
Our Clear Biotic Review
How to Take Clear Biotic
The directions on the bottle state to take 1 to 4 capsules daily preferably with a meal. Taking supplements with food helps to increase the absorption of the capsules.
Size of the Pills
The capsules are on the larger side as compared to other acne capsules that we have reviewed, but they are not huge. They are only slightly bigger than a dime.
I did not have trouble swallowing the capsules, but others may find them too big and may have trouble especially if they are taking four pills a day.
We believe that this formulation may help overall skin health because it contains vitamins and probiotics which are known to help pimples and reduce inflammation.
Clear Biotic Amazon Reviews
It makes so much sense that that a lot of my acne breakouts are related to my gut. Which i feel has only gotten worse after the repeated antibiotic use and other life changes. When I use clearbiotic my skin gets much better and looks healthier. Certain foods clearly affect my breakouts and using this product really seems help me with this issue. I plan to continue using it for my improved skin but also improved digestive feeling.

Worked a little. Helped with my beard growing in. I wouldnt use it for too long.
Title: "Its Ok"
Star Count: 3
Other Amazon reviewers mentioned that they did not see a difference after using the product or it made their acne worse. We believe this is a purging phase which is common amongst acne products especially if the user is not healthfully balanced within their body.
Clear Biotic Ingredients
Are These the Best Probiotics for Hormonal Acne?
Pimples occur because of excess sebum production, Propiobacterium acnes development (the bacteria which forms acne), as well as inflammatory factors. Probiotics have been shown to help reduce these side effects. (1)
Each type of probiotic strain is different and plays different roles when absorbed in the body.
Lactobacillus acidophilus- Naturally found in fermented foods such as sauerkraut and kimchi. You could say this is the most important strain because it helps nutrient absorption and the digestion of dairy.
Lactobacillus bulgaricus- This is the main probiotic used in the production for yogurt. This strain helps to eliminate toxins.
Bifidobacterium bifidum- Present in breast milk which is why breast milk is imperative to a baby's health. It also helps to break down carbohydrates, fats, and protein into energy.
A study conducted by physician Robert H. Siver showed that after 300 patients were given L. acidophilus and L. bulgaricus 80% of them had showed improvement in inflammatory acne. He believed this was because of a correlation between gut microbes and how they affect the skin. (2)
Can You Get Side Effects?
From our research we gathered that some people who took the Clear Biotic acne pills experienced side effects such as more acne including cysts or no improvement in their skin at all. These side effects do not happen to everyone and are not extreme if you do decide to take this product.
Probiotics may have side effects in some people such as:
- Increased histamine levels
- Allergic reactions
- Increase infection risk for those who have a suppressed immune system
It is advised to consult your physician before taking any supplement to ensure you do not have an adverse reaction to the ingredients.
Where to Buy Clear Biotic
You can only buy Clear Biotic from Amazon as they do not have their own website to buy it from. It is $39.98 and they offer free shipping for Prime members.
Acnetame VS Clear Biotic
Acnetame is another skin care supplement that people buy along with Clear Biotic. They are different in that Acnetame contains vitamins, minerals, and a amino acid while Clear Biotic contains vitamins and probiotics.
These two products could possibly be taken together for a more profound effect on the skin. Vitamin A is known to be toxic if taken at high levels, but a study concluded that it can be safely taken up to 50,000 - 100,000 IU daily. (3) How much vitamin A you want to take is a personal choice, but we recommend that you run any nutritional supplement that you are looking to take by your doctor first.
Oral vitamin A (retinol) is generally not considered useful in the treatment of acne vulgaris. We conducted a study which showed that retinol was indeed ineffective at the usual doses of 50,000 to 100,000 IU daily. Retinol was highly efficacious in doses of 300,000 units for women and 400,000 to 500,000 units for men, toxicity was slight and limited mainly to skin (xerosis) and mucous membranes (cheilitis). The danger of hypervitaminosis A in this dosage range has been exaggerated.
Pros & Cons
Does not contain soy, yeast, gluten, artificial flavors, or preservatives.
Can be beneficial for overall health.
Not vegan or vegetarian because it contains gelatin.
Some people may not respond positively to probiotics.
CONCLUSION: Is Clear Biotic A Scam?
We do not think Clear Biotics is a scam because some people really do seem to like it and see benefits from it especially those who are lacking probiotics in their diet.
At the same time, many people may not notice a difference or actually see an increase in acne which is why they could believe it is a scam. We suggest doing your own research and testing the product yourself to see if it works for you.
Oral probiotics for hormonal acne are a great way to reduce inflammation in the body which may help reduce pimples. It may also have other positive health benefits like improved bowel movements, increased energy, and less inflammation throughout the body.
