Nature’s Cure Acne Treatment Pills Review- UPDATED 2023

Reviews of Nature’s Cure 2 Part Acne Treatment System for females and males can be found online, but can the homeopathic ingredients cause side effects instead of helping acne?

Nature’s Cure 2 Part Acne Treatment For Females Review

The reason why this is a 2 part acne treatment is because you receive oral tablets as well as a topical cream.

The tablets are very small in size and are easy to swallow. The topical cream is colorless, odorless, and greaseless. It is best to apply the cream with a Q-tip to avoid pimples from becoming more infected.

Nature's cure acne vanishing cream can be compared to other top brands containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid as it works fast to reduce redness and pimple size.

After applying the cream to a small pimple I had in between my eyes, I noticed that overnight it had diminished quite a bit. After applying the cream again the following day and night, the pimple had disappeared. I can not say how it will affect more severe forms of acne like cysts or nodules, but for small pimples it works well.

The Nature's Cure acne pills; on the other hand, are not my first choice to use for reducing pimple size, oily skin, or inflammation as homeopathic ingredients may not always work for some people. The tablets also contain trace amounts of lactose which is a factor in the development of breakouts.

Dosing and Directions

Acne Tablets: The directions for the Nature's Cure acne pills recommend to take two tablets daily; preferably one in the morning and one at night.

These are the first clear complexion tablets that we have reviewed that are chewable which is a benefit for those who have trouble swallowing pills. When you chew the pills you are supposed to let them dissolve in your mouth before swallowing.

Vanishing Cream: Before applying the cream to your skin make sure to clean the infected area thoroughly. You may then apply the cream 1-3 times a day.

Is Nature's Cure Safe?

Any type of pimple treatment that you take may have side effects. This is because everyone reacts to supplements differently.

Side Effects

The Nature's Cure pills may increase breakouts.

People may have allergic reactions to some of the ingredients like Echinacea.

The ingredient Candida Albicans may cause Candida Overgrowth which disrupts the natural bacteria in your gut. This may become an issue if you are taking antibiotics or eat a diet high in carbs and sugar. Side effects include weight gain, joint pain, and fatigue. (1)

Most people in the Western society have an overabundance of yeast already because of the modern diet. For this reason it would exclude this ingredient from being beneficial to someone's health.

The topical cream can make your skin become dry, itchy, or start to peel. If this occurs you need to reduce or discontinue using it.

Do not apply this cream if you plan on going in the sun as it may cause photosensitivity.

Nature's Cure Ingredients

The Nature's Cure acne tablets for women and men are both made of homeopathic ingredients. These ingredients have been used as alternative medicine since the late 1700s.

Homeopathic ingredients are made by diluting a substance so much so that no molecules of the original substance remain.

The problem with homeopathic treatments is that there are little to no studies showing any true effectiveness of the ingredients.

Because Homeopathy is a pseudoscience, meaning it is based on beliefs that are not scientifically factual, it is hard to say whether these ingredients work or not. They may work on placebo or some ingredients may be effective.

Homeopathy is a system of alternative medicine.

It is stated directly on the box that "tablet ingredients and their indications are based on homeopathic evidence". According to the Complementary Medicines Evaluation Committee (CMEC),

Traditional use refers to documentary evidence that a substance has been used over three or more generations of recorded use for a specific health related or medicinal purpose. (2)

This does not necessarily mean that there is scientific evidence supporting these claims.

Active Ingredients

  • Antimonium Crudum (antimonious sulfide) 12x
  • Candida Albicans (yeast) 12x, 30x, 60x, 200x
  • Carbo Vegetabilis (vegetable carbon) 30x,
  • Cimicifuga racemes (black cohosh) 30x,
  • Cistus Canadensis (frost weed) 30x,
  • Echinacea Angustifolia (cone flower) 12x
  • Graphites (graphite) 30x
  • Hepar Sulfuris Calcareum (calcium sulfide) 24x
  • Juglans Regia (walnut) 6x
  • Kali Bromatum (potassium bromide) 12x
  • Ledum Palustre (wild rosemary) 12x
  • Oophorinum (glandular) 12x
  • Silicea (silica) 6x.

Instead of using IU, mg, or mcg to specify the potency of an ingredient, homeopathy uses X, C, and M. All of the ingredients in Nature's Cure are in X which means that a substance is diluted in a ratio of 1:10. (3)

Inactive Ingredients

Lactose and magnesium stearate are two inactive ingredients in this product. They are inactive as they do not affect the strength or dose of the actual pill, but have been added during the manufacturing process. (4)

I am unsure why Lactose was added into this pills because it has been known to cause hormonal fluctuations in the body which may translate into acne on the skin.

CONCLUSION: Do the Nature's Cure Pills Work?

The Nature's Cure acne treatment is based on traditional homeopathic evidence and not scientific evidence so it is hard to say if this product will work for everyone. Some people may see results while others may not.

The topical cream really works as advertised. It made acne and redness go away in a very short amount of time.

Pros & Cons

Easy to swallow tablets.

Tablets are chewable.

You only have to take two tablets per day.

The vanishing cream works well topically.

Contains lactose.

Ingredients may not be effective.

We do believe that homeopathic supplements have some merit when properly included into a product. Because lactose and candida are added to this preparation we cannot promote the use of these tablets for acne or other uses.
